You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.

I am an experienced Integrative-Relational Trauma Counsellor supporting individual clients  through their experiences of Trauma, Anxiety and Childhood sexual abuse.

Anxiety is the most reason people undertake counselling, it can be social anxiety, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) or panic disorder. You are not alone in your journey.

UK research shows that as many as 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men have experience some form of sexual abuse before the age of 18. Yet all childhood abuse is not sexual it could be having a parent who could not regulate their emotions, being told you couldn’t or shouldn’t experience certain emotions, having a parent denying your reality so not being seen or heard.

Some of the above trauma can result in anxiety or depression, dysfunctional relationship patterns or a betrayal of self for love or acceptance.

Whenever you’re ready, I am here to support you in exploring your current struggles in a safe, restorative, non-judgmental and collaborative environment.

I offer Online, Telephone and Face to Face sessions.

My Approach & Philosophy

Integrative- Relational Counselling and Psychotherapy is a holistic and relational way of drawing together Humanistic, Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt and Existential models of therapy to provide a unique and supportive way of working with you.

Whilst Counselling and Psychotherapy is a talking therapy, CSA and trauma can be complex and deeply difficult to explore. My holistic approach is long term and incorporates Psychoeducation (understanding CSA and trauma, your reactions and your process of healing), Body Psychotherapy (your bodies unique reaction to trauma, feelings, sensations and impulses) and Creative Exploration (using creativity to express, explore and support emotions).
